OLYMPIA, Wash. — The Office of the Insurance Commissioner’s third Spokane workshop for wildfire survivors navigating the insurance claims process is scheduled for Monday, Oct. 12.
OIC insurance experts will provide tips on navigating the first couple of months of recovering from wildfire, including debris removal and replacement estimates, and individual claim assistance. The workshop will also include time for questions and one-on-one assistance.
Insurance Commissioner Patty Kuderer’s office began hosting the workshops in August in response to the Spokane Complex Fires.
“The insurance claims process can be overwhelming,” Kuderer said. “These in-person workshops will help guide you through each step of the process, from filing your claim to rebuilding.”
Workshops are scheduled for the second Monday of each month, from 6 – 8:30 p.m., at:
Spokane Falls Community College
Building 24 (sn-w’ey-mn), Auditorium Room 110
3410 W Whistalks Way, Spokane, WA 99224
